When we are in love, any occasion is good to give a gift to the loved one and show our affection. However, not all gifts are the same nor should all be. It has been proven that traveling with your partner is much better than offering an object of great value.
Christmas, Valentine’s, birthdays… There are many events in which we must give detail to our boyfriend or girlfriend. If for the next special date you do not know very well what to give, here is a great idea: give him a trip that he will never forget.
Why traveling with your partner is the best gift
To travel you don’t have to have a large budget. It can be a modest surprise, like a weekend getaway to that town that loves it. Take the car and get lost or even enjoy a different night on the outskirts of your city.
Any amount of time will be enough to rest, disconnect from the world and reconnect in privacy. By sharing experiences and creating new memories together, you will both be much happier.
Couples traveling together are much happier. And, because of the hustle and bustle that we carry in our daily routine, the couple may end up neglecting. Therefore, if your desire is to combat monotony and spend quality time with your crush or life partner, nothing better than to escape together even if it is a couple of days.
According to a study conducted by the United States Travel Association, those couples traveling together are much happier than those who do not. In addition, they also have a plus: their relationship is much healthier and more stable.
Of all the couples who interviewed to draw conclusions, 86% of those who travel together believe that romance is still very much alive in their relationship. Instead, 73% of those who do not travel think this. Many admitted, too, that when they travel as a couple they feel more united and open to share, not only their love life but also other common desires and goals.
This is what the numbers say
In case you still need one more push, here are some numbers with the results of the study.
- 94% of couples traveling together say they feel very close to each other, as opposed to 86% of those who do not travel.
- According to 84% of those who do travel as a couple, the two members spend and enjoy the quality time together. Instead, this is only affirmed by 70% of those who do not travel.
- 21% of those who do not travel together claim that their differences are very difficult to resolve, as opposed to 13% of those who do escape together.
As you see, the numbers do not lie. If you don’t know what gift to give your partner on that special date, choose to surprise her with a romantic getaway or an unforgettable trip. We assure you that you will create experiences that you will never forget.
